This. This is exactly how I want their first kiss to be. Trembling and excited and oh so hesitant because this will change everything. But it’s going to be so, so good, so there’s no way they’ll be able to stop this in the end. They’ll just hesitate the tiniest moment longer, and so they’ll end up drawing out the delicious tension, too… until, finally, they’ll give in. They’ll have to.
I think after the great big spoiler rush of the past few days this deserves to come back out. Because right now, the thought gets me more excited than ever.

Yes, lets just ignore the abnormal extra arms and odd position!
Ziva paused in the middle of taking photos and pressed a hand to her stomach. She closed her eyes, swallowing hard and taking a deep breath.
Tony was by her side immediately. “You okay?” He whispered, casting a quick look around as he touched her elbow. “Feeling sick?”
She nodded a little. “It was just a quick wave of nausea. I think I am fine.”
He sighed. “I think we should tell people, Ziva. You probably shouldn’t be doing field work.”
She pursed her lips. “I am only six weeks, Tony. It’s fine.”
“Ziva.” His voice was soft. “I just don’t want to take any chances. We should just tell Gibbs. It’ll be fine.”
She let out a sigh, pressing her face into his shoulder. His hand came to rest on her waist. “I know.” She murmured, her voice muffled slightly.
He pressed his lips to her head. “It’ll be worth it, not being able to do field work.”
“I know that, too.” She replied, pulling her face reluctantly from his shoulder.
“I love you.” He told her, and she smiled.
“I love you, too.” She reciprocated, and then winced as another wave of nausea hit her.
“You alright, Ziver?” Gibbs asked as he walked up.
“Not really.” She said honestly.
“What’s wrong?” He reached up to touch her cheek with the back of his hand. “You sick?”
Tony spoke up. “Yeah, boss, about that… there’s something we need to tell you.”

Don’t get me wrong, I love me some Tiva. But why is this being reblogged so much? They look at each other all the time. Is a reflection of them being highlighted important somehow?
I probably come off sounding like a dick and I don’t mean to. I don’t know how to better voice my confusion, that’s all. I don’t see what’s so special about the reflection that it’d need to be highlighted unless there’s some comments that’ve been emitted during reblogging. :\
I think it just has to do with the context of that particular look. Ziva just basically told him she loved him, or at least that she was part of the people who loved him (“that is what we love you”) and the fact that she’s avoiding eye contact right after that he’s quite telling about her feelings. He’s looking at her in a mixture of surprise and gratefulness after that, because she’s told him exactly what he needed to hear, telling him he wasn’t crazy and that they - she - loved him as he was and also because he was certainly not expecting her to be that honest with him.
I think he’s looking at her to appreciate whether she really meant what she said or not, and she doesn’t look at him, she’s avoiding eye contact because the truth is that there was so much more meaning to what she just told him she can’t trust herself to look at him and manage to hide it from him (her eyes don’t shut up remember?).
I think that’s why this look is highlighted and reblogged so much. Well, that’s why I love it anyway.
